Several weeks ago I began to really focus placing our newsletters,pictures and now Active Listings on Localism.com.
I didn`t know what to expect! I was curious how it would enhance our presence on the net and I wanted to see if the area`s we concentrate in would be noticed by Google Base and Yahoo. I had no idea how "POWERFUL" this marketing Tool is!
I started using Localism in our listing presentation with potential sellers, they flipped! Many understand that in order to have a property noticed in todays competitive market we need to "Leverage the Net",which means using any and all means to insure a property is marketed. I know that Colleen fully understands how this helps her marketing a property!
What really has me convinced that Localism.com is the "Wave of the Future' is the telephone inquiries that have started. I like to track our "Source of Leads", albeit it`s not an easy task, when a person sends us an email or contacts us, I have a habit of using this data,in order to see where we can maximize our business.
With Localism, potential buyers seem to be focusing on neighborhoods,area`s and are using YAHOO and GOOGLE to condense their search.


Buyers have started to search what they want with targeted area`s.
The first sign that I received a lead from Localism is when the person called us telling me that they saw our listing on Yahoo, specifically in the "Ocala Florida Real Estate" search.
They saw our web site, used our links and made contact with several other properties that we`ve marketing! If you have listings and you need to gain exposure, than I strongly urge many of you to start "UTILIZING" this web site!
This is the future for "RAINERS" and I anticipate many more Realtors will soon arrive. Shortly, this will become somewhat like P2A.com in their National Listing Service only bigger!
